Medical Director/Global Medical Indication Lead - Nephrology(FSP)

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Medical Director/Global Medical Indication Lead - Nephrology (FSP). This fully remote role is based in the United States, preferably in the Eastern or Central Time Zone, with travel requirements of 10-20% (possibly international).

About the Role

Lead the clinical team for the Nephrology indication, translating the Target Product Profile (TPP) into a Clinical Development Plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize asset potential, oversee medical aspects of studies, and ensure compliance and harmonization across trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic medical insight throughout all development stages.
• Manage and mentor global clinical trial physicians.
• Oversee medical aspects of studies and communicate with management.
• Lead medical advisory boards and build a high-performing medical team.
• Ensure study compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or equivalent; Board-certified Nephrologist preferred.
• 3-5 years of industry experience in drug development, with relevant specialty education (Nephrology/Immunology).

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in clinical trial design, conduct, and data interpretation.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and perform under stress.

Benefits and Compensation
