Job summary

City of Hope Atlanta in Newnan, GA, seeks a Medical Director of Gastroenterology to lead multidisciplinary care. The role involves collaboration with a top-tier GI team and oncologists, with 1 other GI and an experienced APP in the practice.

Required are MD/DO or foreign equivalent, Interventional GI fellowship, and GI Board certification or eligibility. EUS and ERCP are essential, with a schedule of three procedure days and one clinic day weekly.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent required.
• Fellowship in Interventional Gastroenterology required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Georgia Medical License or eligibility prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with oncologists and GI team to provide multidisciplinary patient care.
• Join an established GI practice with 1 other GI and an experienced APP.
• Perform general and advanced GI procedures including EUS and ERCP.
• Balance procedural days (3) with clinic days (1) in a Monday–Thursday schedule.
