Medical Director Opportunity at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital in Round Rock, TX!

**This opening is for a Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.**

Salary & Benefits:

  • Attractive base salary starting at $200,000 plus Production Bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the CTVSEH South Austin veterinarian team
  • Develop, implement, and oversee essential medical services
  • Advise on best practice clinical operations and staff efficiency
  • Ensure exemplary delivery of clinical services and client experience
  • Foster strategic relationships with the referring veterinary community
  • Provide clinical mentoring, coaching, and training for staff
  • Evaluate and improve clinical policies and procedures
  • Monitor medical quality and report findings to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Active Texas license or ability to obtain one
  • Experience as an Emergency Veterinarian or Board-Certified in medical oncology, emergency & critical care, surgery, radiology, or internal medicine
  • At least 2+ years of clinical, scientific, or industry experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced setting
  • Innovative thinker focused on continuous improvement

Schedule:

  • 4-day work week with dedicated admin time for leadership responsibilities
