The ASPCA Community Medicine team is seeking an experienced Veterinary Medical Director for the Carson, CA area. This on-site role focuses on clinical leadership, high-volume spay/neuter, and implementing CM standards across a community-oriented clinic.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and licensed veterinary professional.
• Experience leading a veterinary medical team and establishing CM standards.
• Strong mentorship and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical team to provide high-quality, high-volume care.
• Supervise veterinarians and ensure CM SOPs are followed.
• Mentor veterinarians in preventive care and HQHVSN techniques.
• Maintain calm, low-stress handling for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with regional leaders and nursing directors.
