ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a part-time (0.7FTE) Medical Director for CareVio located at our Avenue North location in Wilmington, DE.
The Medical Director for CareVio will oversee clinical quality related to case management, care coordination, and clinical integration within Population Health. Responsibilities include program review, audits, clinical learning updates, and literature review to ensure standards are maintained. The Medical Director partners with Clinical Directors to drive outcomes, ensure quality, and meet contractual obligations. They will also develop strategies to optimize healthcare partnerships, improve clinical outcomes, and reduce unnecessary acute and post-acute care utilization. The role reports to the Clinical Operations Director and collaborates with the Corporate Director of CareVio to assess program effectiveness, enhance quality, and improve cost, utilization, and stakeholder satisfaction.
