Roche Tissue Diagnostics Laboratory seeks an experienced Medical Director to direct CLIA/CAP compliance, overall quality, and medical interpretation for a clinical laboratory. You will lead a pathology team focused on IHC, multiplex assays, and spatial biology, ensuring regulatory standards and supervising trial sample execution for global biopharma partners.

The role requires board-certified pathology, active license eligibility, and international travel up to two times a year.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with specialization in Pathology.
• Board-certified AP or AP/CP by ABP or AO Pathology.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona Physician License if eligible.
• New York CQ in Histopathology qualification eligibility.
• 42 CFR 493.1443 CE requirements fulfilled or equivalent board track.

Responsabilités

• Ensure full regulatory compliance for CLIA/CAP and state licenses.
• Lead a specialized pathology team focused on IHC, mIHC/mIF, Cobas immunoassays and spatial biology.
• Oversee analytical assay validation, QA/QC, and digital pathology image analysis.
• Bridge high‑complexity histopathology with biomarker discovery for trial support.
