Sound Physicians is seeking an Executive Leader—Medical Director, Advisory Services—to provide on-site advisory support and lead utilization management, compliance, and CDI efforts for partner hospitals." Qualifications

• MD or DO licensure within the state of employment.
• Experience in Utilization Management, compliance, and clinical documentation preferred.
• Board Certification (base specialty) recognized by ABMS or ABQAURP.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of advisory services.
• Serve as a visible physician leader and advocate for improved regulatory compliance, documentation, and utilization of hospital resources.
• Support to address and reduce payer denials.
• Develop action plans on performance improvement opportunities.
• Provide one-on-one and group education to medical staff.
• Provide timely and effective consultation to case management, CDI specialists, physicians, and other staff.
