Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center seeks an advanced heart failure/cardiac transplant cardiologist to help lead the growing heart failure program for an employed cardiac group as a Medical Director.

The candidate should be board certified or eligible in cardiology with advanced heart failure/cardiac transplant expertise, and eligible for Texas licensure; J1/H1B cap-exempt visas are not supported.

Qualifications

• Care for heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, pre- and post-transplant and VAD patients.
• Expertise in percutaneous and surgically placed mechanical circulatory support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growing heart failure program as Medical Director.
• Provide advanced clinical care for heart failure and transplant patients.
• Collaborate with the cardiology team to advance outcomes and research.
