VCA Thornton Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director in Colorado to lead clinical quality and hospital direction for a busy, full-service practice. You will partner with Operations, Marketing and HR to drive excellence while shaping medical policies and patient care.

Qualifications

Schedule
  • Full-Time schedule
  • Our hospital is open Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • This position will include (4) 10-hour shifts
Cases
  • Our practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs
  • Mixture of wellness, sick, and emergency patients.

Total Rewards
Compensation
  • Compensation negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Annual salary starting at $130,000 – $155,000 plus stipends, production, and bonus potential.
  • This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Colorado, or the ability to obtain
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
