Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Sutherland, NE is seeking a Medical Director to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care to residents in long-term care settings. The role focuses on high-quality service, strong leadership, and adherence to best practices.

You will mentor clinical staff, lead credentialing, chair the QAPI committee, support survey readiness, and spearhead new clinical programs while advancing geriatric care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in long-term care.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Prolonged standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; computer work.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff
• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility’s clinical offerings
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support

• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations
• Prolonged standing and walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
