Governors Avenue Animal Hospital in Dover, DE is seeking a Managing Veterinarian to lead the veterinary team while continuing to practice medicine and build strong relationships with patients and clients.

The Opportunity

As Managing Veterinarian, you'll continue doing what you love most: practicing veterinary medicine and building meaningful relationships with patients and clients. Job Duties

• Provide medical leadership and oversight of the veterinary team
• Develop and uphold medical protocols and best practices

• Partner closely with the Hospital Manager on budgeting, financial performance, and operational improvements

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• A strong commitment to delivering exceptional, evidence-based veterinary medicine

• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills

Compensation

• Base salary: $130,000-$175,000, commensurate with experience
• Additional production-based bonuses

*Relocation benefits are offered at NVA GP's discretion and are available only for approved Managing Veterinarian roles within the following states: OH, WV, PA, MD, NJ, NY, MA, RI, CT, VT, NH, ME.
