Job summary

Community Partners NH is seeking a Medical Director to lead medical services and guide psychiatric strategy. The role includes direct clinical care, outpatient evaluations, and medication management, with oversight of staff involved in medical services.

The Medical Director will provide outpatient collaborative care and psychiatric consultations to partner organizations, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires Medical Degree and ABPN Board Certification/Eligibility.
• License to practice medicine in New Hampshire required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as Psychiatrist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical care including outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
• Provide outpatient collaborative care and psychiatric consultations to partner organizations.
• Direct, plan, and coordinate activities of staff engaged in medical services and advise on psychiatric services.

Job description

The Medical Director directs, plans, and coordinates activities of employees engaged in medical services and advises on matters related to psychiatric services. The Medical Director also provides direct clinical care including outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management, outpatient collaborative care, and psychiatric consultations to partner organizations

Qualifications

• Medical Degree required
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the state of New Hampshire
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as Psychiatrist
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
• Valid driver’s license, proof of adequate automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation required
