Overview

Director of Recruiting / Partner at SQRL. Are you a Physician/MD looking to pivot into Clinical Research? This role is based in Birmingham, AL, with a focus on leading clinical trials and recruitment for a multi-site network.

Must-have qualifications

• Must be a certified MD or Physician in the state of Alabama


• A valid medical degree with at least 3 years of experience as a licensed physician/MD


• Active medical practitioner registration in good standing and with unrestricted ability to practice in the work location


• Willingness to relocate or commute to be on-site in Birmingham, AL

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple trials across diverse disease states, including cutting-edge research trials.


• Execute the clinical study protocol, delegate tasks to site operations staff, ensure compliance with FDA, ICH, NIH, GCPs, HIPAA, study protocols, and company policies.


• Provide overall site leadership to enhance efficiencies, patient safety, and protocol/regulatory compliance.


• Evaluate and enroll eligible participants; participate in delivery and retention of study participants.


• Collaborate with sponsors, clients, and team members; maintain accurate data and adhere to protocol guidelines.


• Lead protocol training for staff; participate in Investigator Meetings (IMs) and continuing education to stay current on recruitment issues.


• Perform other duties as assigned to support participant needs, protocols, and company requirements.
