Job summary

National Veterinary Associates in the Bay Area seeks Medical Directors or Managing Veterinarians to lead a veterinary clinic, support teams, and drive client care. This leadership role focuses on shaping the clinic's future and empowering clinicians and staff to succeed.

Ideal candidates are AVMA-accredited or have completed ECFVG/PAVE, with experience guiding hospital operations, strategic planning, and cross‑functional collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from AVMA accredited college or have passed ECFVG/PAVE certification.
• Leadership or management experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
• Ability to drive hospital operations and lead teams to deliver high-quality care.

NVA supports multiple hospital sites in California - each staffed with an internal Managing Veterinarian and Hospital Manager - who partner together to drive the day-to-day functions at the hospital level, autonomously make decisions to support their teams and serve their specific clients by addressing their unique needs.

Experience Requirement

• Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program.
