Job summary

Medical Devices Company in San Diego, CA is hiring an Entry-Level Packaging Operator for a 12-month contract. Workdays are Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm, totaling 40 hours per week on the first shift with a pay range of $16-$20 per hour.

You will dispense, inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products, maintain documentation and assist with inventory while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of industry work experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Dispense, inspect, label and package clinical and commercial products.
• Perform finished product packaging to satisfy demand and quality specs.
• Ensure packaging complies with procedures and quality standards.
• Inspect in-process packaging and components to remove defects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing activities and counts.
• Assist with inventory counting and batch records.
• Support safety audits and daily safety discussions.
