Qualifications

• BS in an engineering discipline and 5+ years hands-on experience with mechanical testing equipment.
• Proficiency designing test fixtures and handling fabrication.
• Familiarity with ASTM and ISO static/dynamic testing; orthopedics/spine exposure preferred.
• Meticulous data/documentation practices to ensure compliance and repeatable results.
• Strong communication and writing skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Commitment to safety and ability to mentor colleagues.
• Proactive attitude with initiative and perseverance; high integrity and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily mechanical testing lab functions including test execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with test requestors and project management on test scheduling across multiple projects.
• Manage equipment including calibration, maintenance and overall resourcing.
• In the event of potential non-compliance, hold product/QA documentation and report to supervisor.
• Support the SI-BONE Quality System and regulatory requirements.
