Job summary

Metric Bio seeks a Sustaining Engineer to join a growing medical device company delivering life-saving technology used in critical clinical procedures. You will sustain and advance existing devices, investigate issues and support verification activities across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Regulatory.

This high-ownership role offers ownership of design changes, CAPA, and work across electrical, mechanical and electromechanical systems with broad exposure, autonomy and direct impact on products

Qualifications

• Experience in sustaining engineering or post-market support for medical devices or regulated environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and root cause investigation skills.
• Experience implementing engineering/design changes and supporting verification & validation.
• Understanding of design controls, CAPA and technical documentation within a regulated product lifecycle.
• Broad technical foundation across electrical, mechanical, biomedical or electromechanical engineering.
• Comfortable owning work and collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
