Job summary

Echo Neurotechnologies seeks an experienced Software Test Engineer to strengthen our quality-focused engineering team for a connected medical device. Qualifications

• Significant experience developing integration tests and automated test frameworks using Python.
• Experience testing distributed systems across cloud, desktop, and mobile environments.
• Experience managing software verification and validation (V&V) for medical devices per IEC 62304.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test documentation including plans, protocols, results.
• Define acceptance criteria with engineering and product teams.
• Drive QA for new releases including planning, defect triage, and release readiness assessments.
• Ensure testing aligns with medical software standards and regulations.
• Design, implement, and maintain integration tests for cloud, desktop, and mobile applications.
• Build automated test suites to verify end-to-end workflows and system behaviors.
