Job summary

Route 92 Medical in San Mateo, CA is seeking a hands-on Technical Manufacturing Technician to help develop medical device prototypes, run validation builds, and transfer products to production. You will work mostly in a clean room (75%), create prototypes with engineers, establish processes for new products, and train operators while maintaining thorough test records.

A high school diploma is required; 3+ years in medical device manufacturing is preferred; some exposure to catheter manufacturing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry.
• Experience with standard catheter manufacturing processes in a certified clean room.
• Ability to read engineering assembly drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Work in a clean room environment ~75% of the time.
• Create prototypes and processes for new or revised products with a zero-defect target.
• Support manufacturing for verification and validation builds.
• Establish manufacturing processes for new products and train operators
• Maintain test data sheets and accurate records.
• Collaborate with QA and Manufacturing to meet company goals.
