Bayer is seeking a Device Research & Early Development Engineer in Indianola, PA to advance medical device R&D. The role focuses on lab-based experiments, engineering design, and coordination of tests across teams. A Master’s or PhD is required, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or in teams.

Salary ranges from $86,320 to $129,480 with health, retirement and PTO benefits. No relocation or sponsorship is available. Location: Indianola, PA.

Responsibilities

• Develop test methods and protocols for evaluating medical devices.
• Develop test fixtures to characterize devices and technologies.
• Design and develop electromechanical prototypes.
• Design simulated anatomical/physiological models for testing.
• Set up and execute laboratory tests and analyze data.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate experiments across a cross-functional team.
• Manage laboratory assets and equipment.
