Job summary

Merrimack Manufacturing, a medical device manufacturer in the Manchester Millyard, seeks a Production Inspector to ensure efficient and compliant production processes. The role focuses on hands-on assembly, testing, and meticulous documentation of mechanical and electrical assemblies.

You will monitor line performance, maintain safety and quality standards, and collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement across the production floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience assembling, testing and documenting mechanical and electrical devices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse teams
• Willingness to participate in leadership trainings and cross-functional activities

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inspecting equipment for safety and functionality
• Ensure products meet industry quality standards
• Check finished products for quality and compliance with standards
• Maintain records of inspection performance
• Serve as liaison between workers and management
• Follow inspection schedules and ensure timely project execution
• Maintain clean and safe work area, participate in safety trainings
• Contribute to continuous improvement as part of a cross-functional team
• Adhere to ISO, QSR, and FDA regulations on the line
