Job summary

Sage Product Development, Inc. is seeking a Materials Inspector to ensure product integrity and quality across incoming materials and subassemblies.

The role requires inspecting parts with calipers, micrometers and vision systems, interpreting drawings and GD&T, and partnering with operations to meet production needs.

Applicants should have at least 5 years in medical device manufacturing and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent documented.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/quality for medical devices.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, vision systems).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with AQL sampling.

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized dimensional, mechanical and visual inspection of materials and components.
• Verify compliance with quality specifications.
• Dimensionally inspect products using calipers, micrometers, and vision systems.
