Job summary

Cordis Quality Control Technician (first shift) in Irvine, CA is responsible for inspecting and dispositioning raw materials, labels, and finished lots in a clean room environment. You will review work orders, prepare release and traceability documentation, and ensure GMP-compliant QC approvals.

Coordinate HPLC testing with QA Chemistry and contribute to continuous quality improvements. Must be able to lift 10–20 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Basic GMP and documentation practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and disposition of raw materials and labels.
• Reviewing work order documentation prior to product release.
• Preparing non-conformity documentation for material disposition.
• Preparing release documentation and traceability labeling.
• Providing QC approvals in a clean room manufacturing environment.
• Coordinating HPLC testing with QA Chemistry Team.
• Reviewing quality procedures (SOPs, Q.I.s, RIRs, component specs).
