Job summary

Endologix is seeking a temporary Quality Control Inspector in Santa Rosa, CA, to join the Quality team. You will inspect components, subassemblies, and finished medical devices, perform quality checks and tests, review documentation, and verify DHRs for product release under the QMS.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of Quality Control experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Ability to understand and follow technical procedures, work instructions, and specs.
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of measurement instruments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and documentation.
• Familiarity with GDP and Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits, inspections, and functional testing to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Review lot history records for completeness and accuracy; investigate customer-related records.
• Inspect subassemblies, finished products, purchased components, and tools using defined criteria.
• Conduct product rework on subassemblies or finished goods as required.
• Accurately document inspection and testing results per GDP.
• Review DHRs for compliance with procedures and GDP requirements.
• Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.
• Perform product testing to confirm conformance to quality standards.
• Work in a cleanroom, following safety and protocol requirements.
• Manage ERP (QAD) and MES transactions; multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
