Job summary

IPG Photonics-owned IPG Medical in Marlborough, MA, is seeking a Quality role to ensure compliance with medical device standards and participate in process improvements. The candidate will perform material inspections, review DHRs, and support GMP documentation practices.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma with 1–3 years in quality, familiarity with QMS/PLM/CMMS systems, and knowledge of ISO13485, CFR 21-820. Attention to details and strong reading of drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Additional training in Quality and/or a focus in medical device preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Quality role (medical device preferred, other regulated industries considered).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understanding of ISO13485, ISO14644, and CFR 21-820.
• User experience of QMS, PLM and CMMS systems.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read drawings and prints.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of materials and receiving documentation for conformity to specifications.
• Support manufacturing operations through timely review of DHRs including release of finished goods.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and good documentation practices.
• Participate in NCMRs / CAPAs to better improve company practices and systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
