Specialist Staffing Group is seeking a Project Engineer in Massachusetts to lead sustaining engineering, supplier changes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a medical device setting. You will drive planning, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery of project objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in medical devices, and proficiency with Windchill, SAP, Planview, and Ariba. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of medical device industry experience in R&D, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute sustaining engineering, supplier change, and continuous improvement projects within a medical device environment from initiation through implementation.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, risk management, resource coordination, and execution while ensuring adherence to PM methodologies and quality system requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Packaging, Labeling, and Technical Publications to meet project objectives.
• Facilitate project meetings, track action items, manage risks and issues, and provide status updates, metrics, dashboards, and leadership recommendations.
• Maintain project documentation including plans, schedules, risk registers, and change management records.
• Support execution through Change Orders, procurement coordination, project tracking, and business system utilization (Windchill, SAP, Planview, Ariba).
