Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of medical device experience in R&D, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across levels and with suppliers/consultants.
• Experience collaborating in a geographically diverse, matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects or workstreams.
• Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and implementation of sustaining engineering, supplier change, design change, and continuous improvement projects per project management methodologies.
• Independently manage scope, schedules, milestones, risks, actions and deliverables to meet objectives.
• Lead cross-functional project teams including R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Packaging, Labeling, Technical Publications, and others.
• Facilitate project meetings, drive accountability for deliverables, ensure alignment across functions.
• Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and coordinate resolution.
• Support resource planning, priority setting and issue resolution with managers.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, action-item logs, and documentation.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
• Support governance with metrics, dashboards, and leadership communications.
• Lead workstreams within larger strategic initiatives with aligned timelines.
• Execute COs, procurement coordination, and project reporting; maintain tracking systems.
• Utilize Windchill, SAP, Planview, Ariba to support execution and procurement.
