Job summary

BD, a global medical technology leader, is hiring at USA NE - Columbus for a manufacturing support role. You will monitor equipment, maintain quality, document results and assist with changeovers in ISM, Sterilizer, or related lines.

No prior experience required; High School diploma or GED preferred, or two years manufacturing experience. Benefits include daily pay access, comprehensive healthcare, paid parental leave and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience required.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance.
• Make adjustments to equipment to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians or setter/operators with equipment repair or trouble shooting.
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and comply with GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required.
• Communicate with utilities or department scheduling group to maintain minimal material inventory levels.
• Work as team member to develop optimal task methods.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
