Job summary

Coloplast in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing and distribution of class 2 and 3 medical devices. You will perform molding, dipping, packaging, and assembly, following SOPs and specifications, while documenting work and ensuring traceability.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to GMP/GDP, and problem solving; you will train others, help with process improvements, and operate various equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic assembly skills, ability to multitask and work independently.
• Knowledge of GMP and GDP and ability to analyze problems.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform molding, dipping, packaging, assembly steps.
• Follow SOPs and per specification drawings.
• Document work on work orders per Good Documentation Practices.
• Record traceability of raw materials used.
• Operate equipment including test stations, oven, coating, heat sealing, dipping and presses.
• Resolve routine questions and refer complex issues to leads/supervisor.
• Assist with training and cross-functional teamwork.
• Support process improvement for quality and efficiencies.
