Job summary

Imperative Care in Campbell, California is seeking a Product Manager to join our on-site team. You will map user needs, assess market requirements with clinicians and sales, and shape the product roadmap while coordinating launches and trainings.

The role requires 5+ years in product management within medical devices, a related degree (Engineering preferred), and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook. Travel is possible, and the team collaborates across clinical and R&D groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a combination of education/training and experience.
• Engineering degree is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive user-needs mappings, ensuring that the problem, desired output, and solution boundaries are defined.
• Review customer requirements and craft recommendations for product enhancements and/or identify opportunity for potential new products.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, sales force, and R&D staff to assess market needs for product enhancements, or new products.
• Analyse information on product offerings, including features, pricing, and warranty parameters.
• Develop the product’s core value proposition.
• Develop sales training materials and product support tools for use by the sales workforce.
• Contribute to product launch plans and forecasts.
• Analyse voice-of-customer input from end users and sales force to inform changes and prioritization of the product roadmap.
• Work closely with sales to train physicians, and hospital personnel on technical matters related to Imperative Care devices.
• Update management on project accomplishments and critical issues the affect project completion.
• Attend and participate in activities relevant to scientific and technical meetings and conferences.
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely product documentation and develop/implement procedures, files, records, and follow-ups systems that ensure processes are kept reliable and organized.
