Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Irvine, CA is hiring a Product Development Engineer for a 12-month contract (W2). The role requires 2–4 years of engineering experience in medical devices and a BS in engineering.

You will provide technical support for design and development, ensure product quality, participate in cross-functional projects, and translate customer needs into specifications. Onsite 4 days/week, 40 hours, with a pay range of $25–$30 per hour.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering is required (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred).
• 2–4 years of engineering experience in medical devices.
• Onsite work with four days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Provide solid technical skill and engineering support for design and development activities for new and existing products.
• Support current products in terms of quality, manufacturing, supply continuity and cost improvement.
• Translate customer needs into engineering requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute test methods and write detailed technical reports for design changes and product design activities.
• Ensure compliance with client quality policies, procedures and practices as well as with all local, state, federal and client safety regulations.
