Job summary

Boston Scientific in Carlsbad, TX is seeking an entry-level Manufacturer/Assembler to build and assemble medical devices by following documented processes, tests, and instructions. You will read work orders in English and operate a range of manufacturing equipment to meet validation and build goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, about 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
1 year of work experience in manufacturing and/or assembly.
Proficiency in communication and understanding of English, reading work instructions to consistently build defect-free medical products.

Responsibilities

Assemble, repair, inspect and/or test products following instructions. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and other work-related documents, written in English.
Work with engineers on process modifications and suggest process improvement opportunities.
Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing machines or equipment following written instructions in English.
Clean tools and equipment per instructions.
Record information on approved documents.
Dispose hazardous waste material on corresponding hazardous waste areas.
Resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
Train other employees when necessary.
Maintain all certifications required to remain in compliance.
Work overtime as required.
Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time as needed.
