Job summary

Penumbra, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the engineering, design and development of new or modified neurovascular devices, processes and equipment.

You will interface with multi-disciplinary teams and provide manufacturing support for existing devices, developing and troubleshooting automated processing equipment. The role emphasizes leading projects, creating production drawings, and ensuring adherence to QMS and regulatory requirements in a on-site setting in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering level experience in the medical device industry or equivalent.
• Detailed knowledge of GMP/Quality System Regulations and clean room environment practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering and scientific principles.
• High proficiency with computers and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new processes for medical devices and components.
• Lead multidisciplinary projects as Project Leader and guide other engineers.
• Create and modify product design specifications and drawings.
• Document manufacturing and production development processes in protocols and reports.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Adhere to QMS and applicable quality regulations and procedures.
