Job summary

FITS LLC in Puerto Rico seeks a Production Support Engineer with a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in the medical device manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English & Spanish) and available for 1st shift, including weekends (Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu).

Experience in problem solving, medical device sector knowledge, and familiarity with Yellow/Green Belt is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 1 year of experience in a medical device manufacturing industry.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Shift: 1st shift availability, including weekends (Tue-Sat / Sun-Thu).
• Experience in medical device industry, problem solving, Yellow/Green Belt.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production support engineering with respect to testing methods, procedures, and problems; device/product and yield problems; analysis of product rejection; supplier related engineering changes and optimizing production relative to cost constraints.
