MedScope is seeking a Field Technician/Installer for a 1099 independent contractor role. You will set your availability, receive jobs, and coordinate appointments with members and caregivers for in-home installation and testing of PERS devices.
Responsibilities include documenting installations, collaborating with support teams, obtaining signatures, and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. Travel to member homes is required with SLA-driven timeliness.
MedScope, a leader in the healthcare industry since 1999, supports tens of thousands of Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) users nationwide. Our work helps individuals—many of whom are Medicaid members—remain safe and independent in their homes.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role ideal for individuals looking to add supplemental, low-complexity work to their schedule.
Installers set their availability and capacity in advance. Jobs are assigned; installers are responsible for coordinating appointments directly with members/caregivers and completing work within required timeframes (SLA-driven).
This role requires regular travel to member homes and may involve physical activity, including bending, kneeling, reaching and climbing stairs. Contractors may need to carry and handle lightweight equipment (typically under 10-15 pounds) and work in a variety of home environments.
You are paid per trip (one-way mileage), regardless of install outcome.
