MedScope Installation is seeking field technicians to perform installation and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes. You will coordinate appointments, educate clients, and ensure smooth handoffs to support teams.
You will work as an independent contractor, with pay per trip and mileage-based compensation. This role requires reliable transportation, ability to pass background checks, and strong communication skills.
MedScope, a leader in the healthcare industry since 1999, supports tens of thousands of Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) users nationwide. Our work helps individuals—many of whom are Medicaid members—remain safe and independent in their homes.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role ideal for individuals looking to add supplemental, low-complexity work to their schedule.
Installers set their availability and capacity in advance. Jobs are assigned; installers are responsible for coordinating appointments directly with members/caregivers and completing work within required timeframes (SLA-driven).
This role requires regular travel to member homes and may involve physical activity, including bending, kneeling, reaching and climbing stairs. Contractors may need to carry and handle lightweight equipment (typically under 10-15 pounds) and work in a variety of home environments.
You are paid per trip (one-way mileage), regardless of install outcome.
