Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time Inspector to support manufacturing by performing detailed visual, dimensional and functional inspections of complex medical device components and finished products using a range of inspection tools.

You will follow SOPs, record traceable information in device history records and may train colleagues from other sites. The role requires 2 years of related experience and a HS diploma or equivalent; shift Fri-Sun 5am-5:30pm.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical device assembly experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of complex components and finished medical device products using a range of tools to ensure conformance with design specifications
• Perform functional testing using automated and manual testing equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications
• Follow SOPs and work instructions; record traceable information on device history records and enter data into JDE
• Verify manufacturing documents with component and device drawings
• May assist with inventory control and train colleagues from other sites; ensure on-time attendance and full shift
