Job summary

Inogen is seeking a Software Engineer to design, release, and maintain software for its respiratory medical devices. The role spans embedded firmware, cloud, and mobile applications, with emphasis on quality and regulatory compliance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust software throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include design, testing, documentation, reviews, and process improvements aligned with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• 0-3 years of experience in software design and testing (Level I).
• Embedded software language knowledge (C, C++, Assembler).
• Cloud/Mobile experience is a plus.
• ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded, cloud, or mobile software.
• Review and improve released software products and device applications.
• Contribute to requirements definitions and design documents.
• Perform tests and debugging across software and hardware components.
