Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Test Technician in Milpitas, CA. The role focuses on board-level testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electromechanical assemblies within a medical device context.

You will perform disassembly/reassembly, solder rework, and data documentation while supporting manufacturing and engineering teams. Physical lifting up to 35 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting and servicing electronic or electromechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes and DMM, plus rework capabilities.
• Physical ability to lift, maneuver and position test assemblies or equipment up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate board-level PCBs and final products per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot failed units to component level; perform minor rework.
• Assist with disassembly/reassembly of electromechanical assemblies.
• Record and report test data for product and engineering teams.
• Maintain test equipment and test areas in clean, safe condition per SOPs.
• Provide cross-functional technical support to manufacturing and engineering.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
