Job summary

TransMedics is seeking a Director of Electrical & Systems Engineering to plan, design, and oversee the electrical and biomedical infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers, develop long-range plans, and drive top-level company objectives.

This onsite role will guide verification, manufacturing tests, and supplier collaboration to ensure compliance with IEC standards. You will manage budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor senior staff while advancing product development

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical design experience in medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture, design and testing for Next Generation Organ Care System.
• Provide leadership to internal and external design teams, for new and legacy products.
• Develop and monitor department goals; manage budgets and schedules.
• Oversee verification strategy, protocols and reports; collaborate with QA and regulatory teams.
