Smart Teams in Minnesota is seeking an electrical engineer to develop and maintain schematics and board layouts for an electromagnetic positioning system, and to assemble, evaluate, and test prototypes.

You will conduct verification testing and engineering studies, document protocols and results, qualify components, support pilot and low-rate production, and propose improvements in a regulated medical-device environment. Strong collaboration and thorough technical documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of medical device development experience.
• Experience developing complete products and deploying, troubleshooting, documenting, and testing electrical systems in a regulated industry.
• Schematic capture and layout experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schematics and board layouts for an electromagnetic positioning system.
