Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. in Westford, MA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the R&D team, supporting design and sustainment of medical device products. You will design electronics, work with Altium, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in electrical design within medical devices, a BSEE or higher, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with regulatory testing and quality focus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical design experience, preferably within the medical device industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design, with proficiency in Altium preferred.
• Knowledge of medical device testing and compliance requirements is advantageous.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic components and systems for end-of-life products and support ongoing product maintenance.
• Utilize schematic capture tools, preferably Altium, to develop detailed electronic designs.
• Oversee prototyping processes with third-party manufacturers to ensure design integrity and functionality.
• Manage multiple sustaining projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Coordinate overseas testing at compliance testing facilities for medical devices to meet regulatory standards.
