Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Medical Device Design Engineer to join their team. As a Medical Device Design Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic cross-disciplinary team supporting innovative medical device projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Device Design Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX (hybrid role)

Pay Range: $28 to $35 per hour

Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Lead design efforts under the guidance of Senior Engineers on design change initiatives.
• Oversee execution of project deliverables as assigned.
• Interface with various departments to drive projects forward.
• Create testing protocols and verification documentation as part of product design changes.
• Analyze test data using statistical tools and generate detailed technical reports.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or similar disciplines.
• 3 years of experience in the Medical Device industry.
• Experience in regulated design environments, particularly in medical device development.
• Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical principles.
