Job summary

GE HealthCare in Salt Lake City is seeking a Production Associate to support assembly, manufacturing, cleaning, packaging, and shipping of medical devices. The role operates on a team line, with handoff between operators, contributing to overall line efficiency.

You will follow procedures, work instructions, and process aids; perform readings, qualify quality, and participate in safety and quality programs while collaborating with engineers, leads, and supervisors to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED, or local equivalent, AND 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Demonstrated ability to detail and quality-minded work habits.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work out of an office located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs entry to mid-level manufacturing/assembly operations on production line and other tasks following procedures and work instructions.
• Uses lift platforms, hoist, torque tools, and power hand tools to assemble machines.
• Reads and follows work procedures or verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Maintains daily production output and crosses trains in multiple functions.
• Follows EHS and Quality policies and may participate in quality inspections.
• Works with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned, including quality activities and training sessions.
• Compliance with attendance policies; willing to work voluntary overtime when needed.
