Job summary

HuFriedyGroup in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assembler I to assemble medical devices, perform leak tests, and troubleshoot assemblies according to blueprints. Includes opportunities for quarterly bonuses and 401(k) matching.

The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing or assembly, ability to read blueprints, and use of hand and power tools. Excellent attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret written instructions.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) when working with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of raw materials and production assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Utilize blueprints to set up each build in accordance with work orders.
• Assemble components that consist of machined and purchased parts.
• Perform leak and assembly tests per work instructions.
• Troubleshoot when assemblies don’t pass testing and communicate with engineering as needed.
• Verify assemblies comply with quality standards before submission to QA.
• Comply with FDA, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
