Job summary

CONMED is seeking a detail-oriented assembler to perform assembly and packaging of medical products in a clean room environment. You will follow written and verbal instructions, use a microscope for quality checks, and ensure all paperwork and labeling are accurate.

The role requires standing long hours, lifting up to 20 pounds, and adherence to PPE protocols. The position involves operating packaging equipment, maintaining tools, and supporting additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check work for proper assembly and use microscope as needed to ensure specifications are met.
• Set up and operate packaging devices and print labels.
• Follow clean room gowning requirements (PPE).
• Assemble, label, and package sterile and non-sterile products per procedures and complete paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment; handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
