Job summary

Aerotek in Irvine, CA is hiring for an Assembly role on 1st and 2nd shifts, Contract to Hire, with pay ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour. The position involves producing medical devices in a cleanroom, operating equipment, and preparing products for packing and sterilization.

Responsibilities include following instructions, documenting traceability, inspecting with a microscope, maintaining GMP compliance, and setting up coating machines for balloon catheter components.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months in the medical device industry.
• Proficiency in English language for documentation and communication.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable handling chemicals in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately update relevant job documentation for traceability.
• Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
• Inspect products using a microscope.
• Ensure GMP compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
• Set up coating machines and perform coating, inspecting, and folding of balloon catheters.
• Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations and test them.
• Package both sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
• Identify supplies that need replenishment.
• Build components needed for top-level work orders.
• Complete required cleaning activities.
