Job summary

Cutera, Inc. is seeking an Assembler for on-site work at the Brisbane, CA facility. This 6-month contract role focuses on electro-mechanical and optical assembly, PCBA programming, testing, and calibration of medical devices.

The ideal candidate has hands-on production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow GMP procedures in a regulated environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in production assembly or related manufacturing.
• Manual dexterity with electro-mechanical components; basic soldering skills.
• Strong math, attention to detail, and quality focus.
• Proficiency with MS Office; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical and optical assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of medical devices in GMP compliance.
• Execute PCBA programming, system testing, and calibration per procedures.
• Troubleshoot and rework assemblies to resolve failures and nonconformances.
• Maintain production records and documentation accurately.
• Operate ERP systems and access bills of materials as required.
• Train teammates on certified processes and procedures.
• Interpret drawings and work instructions; meet timelines and schedules.
• Identify issues and communicate improvement ideas to teams.
