Job summary

Arthrex is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Santa Barbara, CA to manufacture electro-mechanical and video camera medical products. You will follow SOPs, inspect own work, and work on intricate optical and electronic components, with focus on GDP and quality.

The role involves hands-on assembly, data recording, cross-training across lines, and collaboration with R&D. A high school diploma and at least two years of assembly experience are required; medical device industry preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience in a medical device environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures electro-mechanical and video camera medical products to specifications and follows SOPs.
• Performs area cleaning, documentation, and GDP-compliant data recording.
• Assembles circuit boards, cables, optics, and mechanical sub-assemblies with precision.
• Tunes fitment, tests, and troubleshoots to meet required specs.
• Collaborates with R&D and QA; supports continuous improvement and training.
