Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring Medical Device Assemblers in Madison, WI to support the production of optical and medical products. You will join a clean, temperature-controlled facility with on-the-job training.

This temp-to-hire role requires attention to detail, comfort with small parts and hand tools, and the ability to read English for production documentation. No optical experience is required—training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with small parts and hand tools.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English for safety and production documentation.
• Previous assembly/manufacturing/optical experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assembly work on small optical and lighting components.
• Assemble small optical components and parts.
• Use small hand tools and quality measurement devices.
• Inspect work to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Complete detailed production documentation.
• Follow GMP, ISO and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Safely operate production equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks.
